Its official: ‘Thala 55’ to feature Arun Vijay in a negative role

Actor Arun Vijay has confirmed that he would be playing a villainous role in A.M. Rathnam's next venture. The Ajith-starrer untitled action thriller film, written and directed by Gautham Menon is referred as Thala 55 by Ajith's fans. Arun Vijay is sure about the film's success and switched to a social networking site to thank his fans!

Arun posted, "Hi friends.. I didn't disclose much about the character I play in Gowtham sir's film, as it was meant to be a Surprise... :) but was zapped when Rathnam sir announced on stage in a recent award function. But was really happy when the stadium roared on hearing it." "A big thanks to all Ajith sirs' s fans for all the love and support... One thing I can say now is, this film for sure to rock," he further tweeted.

A.M. Ratnam made an announcement related to Arun’s negative role in his film during Vijay Awards function, which was held in Chennai, recently. Apparently, Ajith and Menon are collaborating for the first time and the buzz has already created much hype!
