Jai To Star Alongside Three Actresses In His Next

Actor Jai, who is currently gearing up for the release of his forthcoming film Balloon, has signed his next movie. The film will be directed by Suresh, who has directed Rajinikanth ’s Enthiran in 2010. The film will have three actresses, Catherine Tresa, Raai Laxmi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, apart from Jai.

Talking about the film, Suresh said, “The movie has Jai playing the lead. There are three heroines in the film — Catherine Tresa, Raai Laxmi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. I will not reveal who his pair is, but all the three women have important parts in the movie. As for Jai, he plays an IT guy in the film. It is a movie based on snakes, like the 1979 movie Neeya that had Kamal Haasan and Sripriya in the lead. We wanted to try something new and that is why we roped in all these talented actors. We will begin shooting for the film by January, depending on the dates of the actors. The movie will be shot in different places like Chennai, Madurai and Chalakudy in Kerala, etc. The movie will have elements of thriller and love.”

Catherine Tresa will also be seen alongside Jai in Sundar C’s Kalakalappu 2, which is a sequel to 2012 film Kalakalappu. Apart from Jai and Catherine, the flick also features Jiiva, Nikki Galrani and Shiva. Kalakalappu 2 is expected to release in March 2018.
