    Jayam Ravi’s Zombie Film Release Might Be Postponed

    Actor Jayam Ravi starrer Miruthan’s release date might be postponed. The movie which was slated for a February 12 release is the first ever Zombie film in Tamil cinema. The film after being watched by Censor Board officials, received an A certificate, which will restrict its viewership and might act as a barrier in getting the entertainment tax exemption by the government.

    Considering the above, the makers of the film have planned to send Miruthan for the revising committee of the Central Board of Film Certification in Mumbai and expect a change of rating. Reportedly, the procedure might take time hence the movie might not be released this week. According to reports, the officials have confirmed February 19 as the new release date of the film. The revised date can be seen on the latest official posters.

    Miruthan, a Sakthi Soundararajan directorial also stars actress Lakshmi Menon - the fastest rising star in Tamil cinema, in the lead role. The movie has been produced by Michael Rayappan under the Global Infotainments banner. The musical score has been rendered by D.Imman.
