The film deals in societal views on relationship between a girl and a boy. Jeeva explains, "While today's parents have opened up a bit, we are still not broad-minded and the restrictions we force upon teenagers when they start developing interest in the opposite sex only makes them develop a defiant attitude."

A college love story set in the 1980s features Sathya and Mia George in the lead roles. Although it will be a period film but the story will work in contemporary setting too.                "Thanks to technology, today's youngsters have the luxury of face-to-face communication even when they are apart. So, I wanted to look back at a different era of romance, from the pre-internet and pre-mobile phone days," states Jeeva.
