Jeyamohan Approached For 'Thalapathy 62'

Tamil’s award-winning novelist B Jeyamohan has been roped into pen script for the upcoming film 'Thalapathy 62'. Jeyamohan has earlier written the story for Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and framed the script of Shankar's magnum opus '2.0'. Vijay plays the lead role in the flick.

The film will also feature Keerthy Suresh , Yogi Babu and Prem Kumar of ' Vikram Vedha ' in important roles. Rumours are doing rounds that the film lays an emphasis on the lives of fishermen, however an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited. The shooting of the movie is currently going on in full swing in East Coast Road (ECR) with a large number of boats.

Cameraman Girish Gangadharan recently posted some pictures from the flick’s sets on his Instagram page. The movie is being helmed by AR Murugadoss. AR Rahman will be scoring the tunes for the movie. 'Thalapathy 62' is expected to release on Diwali this year.
