Jigarthanda is releasing on time, don’t believe rumours: Siddharth

Getting miffed by the continued rumours of Jigarthanda being delayed by 2-4 days, actor Siddharth broke his anger out on Twitter. The actor tweeted "Jigarthanda is releasing on 25th July. Please don't believe any rumours spread by jobless people' - Karthik Subbaraj & Siddharth."

The K-town sources kept publishing false reports about the delay in the release of the movie. While some reports suggested that the film would release on July 27th, some said it would open on July 31st. Jigarthanda stars Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead and is helmed by the Pizza fame director Karthik Subbaraj. The movie also stars Simhaa and Karuna in supporting roles and is being promoted as a musical gangster film with Santhosh Narayanan composing the music. The new trailer of the movie was recently shown ahead of the release. The multi-starrer project is being produced by Aadukalam producer Kathiresan with Sun Pictures acquiring the distribution rights.
