Jonty Rhodes Visits The Sets Of J.K. Mahendra’s Flick

J.K. Mahendra, former Ranji Trophy cricketer and selector of India Junior Team is enjoying his new role. The newly discovered talent will soon be seen acting in his next movie titled Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam. He would play the character of a businessman, who has keen interest in collecting cricket memorabilia.

"Actually, the film crew came to check out my cricket memorabilia which I've been collecting from around the globe for the last many years. So, when they met me, the director, who is a debutant, thought I would perfectly fit into the role of the businessman in the film. That's how I was roped in for the film”, said J.K. Mahendra.

Mahendra added that the former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes visited as he was in the neighbourhood for surfing fest earlier. “He was quite happy to watch the shoot and even more excited about checking out my cricket memorabilia”, the actor stated. Mahendra will also appear in another flick, Gautham Karthik's Rangoon.
