‘Junga’ Team Under TFPC Scanner For Shooting Despite Strike

Yes, you heard that right! Vijay Sethupathi aka Makkal Selvan seems to be in a tight spot. Reportedly, a complaint has been lodged against him with TFPC for shooting his upcoming film ‘Junga’ in Georgia and Portugal regardless of the current film strike in South.

However, the filmmakers of ‘Junga’ have revealed that all the arrangements along with the payments to shoot in locales abroad were made long before the strike was announced. Reportedly, they said, “We will incur a big loss if we cancel the shoot and also we don’t know if we can get the same locales later on.”

On the other hand, some producers don’t seem to be willing to buy their statement and insist on action being taken against them. Notably, Sethupathi is himself producing the Rs. 20-crore flick. Talking about the same, he mentioned, “Since it involves huge money, I don’t want to put other producers in jeopardy. I will make it in my own banner. That way the responsibilities become mine.”

We hope Sethupathi gets relief from this hard phase soon!
