The shooting of Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’ is planned to begin from Sept. 17. The earlier idea of shooting primarily in Malaysia has now been changed. The makers have now decided to cut down on the schedule and have instead planned to shoot here in the studio.

According to a source close to the film’s unit, "The team had initially planned a longer schedule in Malaysia. Now, they've decided to reduce the number of shooting days in the Malaysian schedule and plan to shoot in Adityaram studios here". The team has even started preparing the sets for the first schedule.

‘Kabali’ is an upcoming mob film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith. The film will feature Rajinikanth in the lead role while Radhika Apte, Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi in the supporting roles. The film is being produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, while Santhosh Narayanan is composing its music.
