    Kalabhavan Mani Passes Away At The Age Of 45

    Kalabhavan Mani, a dominant name in Kollywood as well as Mollywood, passed away  at a hospital in Kochi yesterday. The renowned Tamil and Malayalam actor was hospitalised for liver ailment and was receiving treatment from the doctors for the past couple of days. He breathed his last at the age of 45.

    Reports suggest that the police have registered the case of unnatural death and now an investigation team will be appointed to find out the cause of death. Many known personalities from both Tamil and Malayalam film industries, are condoling the death of the great actor-singer. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to the actor and tweeted, “A promising career is cut short. Kalabhavan Mani was multifaceted & popular. Pained by his demise. Condolences to his family & fans: PM”.

    Kalabhavan Mani started his career as a mimicry artist with the Kalabhavan troupe. He started his acting career with Malayalam film ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ in 1984 and then also acted in numerous Tamil movies. He went on to act over 200 films and also won National award for playing a blind singer in the film ‘Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum’ perfectly. We hope his soul rests in peace, he will live forever in our memories.
