Kamal Haasan, the helmer and actor of his next film

Life knows no break for superstar Kamal Haasan who has already planned his next movie outing after the completion of Viswaroopam 2, which is almost nearing. It has been heard that Kamal and N. Lingusamy have joined hands for their next film. But Lingusamy will take on the producer’s chair for the same.

As told by Lingusamy, “Kamal Haasan and I are teaming up for a project, which will commence from October this year. This will be Kamal's next film after Viswaroopam 2. He will direct this film and also act in it. We requested Kamal to do a film for our production house, and he accepted our offer. He narrated three stories, and asked us to choose one from them. I was taken aback by his dedication to his work."

He told further, "In fact, all the three scripts were good, and we picked one which we thought was the best among them. Till now, only Kamal has been confirmed for the film. The rest of the cast and crew will be firmed up later. Kamal inspired me to get into films and I feel proud to produce a film for him." He also confirmed that the project would be big, "This will be one of the biggest films in Tamil cinema, and, yes, it will have a mega budget."
