Kamal Haasan: I Never Give Career Advice To My Kids

Kamal Haasan is busy working towards the release of his most-awaited movie Viswaroopam 2. Ulaganayagan always remains active when it comes to his political work, hosting Bigg Boss Tamil 2 and other activities. But being a father also, the actor also gets worried about his kids and vice-versa.

When he was asked whether he gave career advice to his daughters as a father or not, especially when they are in a fix or when movies are not working out, the actor said, “I never offer career advice. I never did. When things go wrong and if they ask for help, I do. I never appreciated career advice when it came my way. I was 18 when I needed all of it. But I didn’t take it from anyone. I made my own decisions. My parents did the same thing that I am doing for my kids today. They assisted, helped and criticised only when asked”.

Kamal had expressed how Shruti and Akshara are a little worried and concerned about his political journey. He said, “I ask them not to worry. But that kind of scepticism, fear and concern for me is there among all the youth”.
