    Kamal Haasan Speaks On Rajesh Pillai’s Death

    Known for speaking his mind, Kamal Haasan is never afraid of controversies. As the reports emerged that director Rajesh Pillai’s death may be due to eating lot of junk foods and drinks, the actor affirmed this theory. Rajesh Pillai was a known Malayalam film director, who died couple of weeks ago, aged 41. 

    The cause of his death was established to be Liver Cirrhosis. The family of the director denied eating excessive fast food and cold-drinks to be prime reason of his death. However, veteran Kamal Haasan openly said the addiction to aerated drinks to be the reason behind his early demise. 

    Kamal Haasan said that he liked Rajesh and had high hopes on him. “Someone's mistake could not be forgiven because he or she was dead”, he added. Rajesh Pillai was widely known for making a critically acclaimed movie ‘Traffic’ that starred Manoj Bajpayee.
