Kamal, Illayaraja Let Me Down: Gangai Amaran
Gangai Amaran who is a well known music director and lyricist has levelled serious allegation against two prominent figures. In a recent interview to a daily, also a writer-director Gangai accused his brother Illayaraja and good friend Kamal Haasan for letting him down. He has successfully made Karagattakaran, Enga Ooru Paatukaran, Pandi Naatu Thangam and Chinnavar among others.
Amaran revealed that Illayaraja said that he challenges him that Chinnavar will be a dud. This was not it, the music director even said that he would not even touch keyboard again if the flick succeeds. Interestingly, the flick became a big hit and Amaran even roped in Kamal Haasan for his next Athi Veerapandian.
However, he alleged that Illayaraja already brainwashed Kamal and told him Chinnavar was a bad flick. He even told the star to not work with Amaran as he was his brother. Gangai also accused that Devar Magan by Kamal was lifted from his proposed flick.
