Karthi to sport a French beard in his next

Moustaches and beards have been the most popular styles down South and it seems to be a growing trend with every passing day. Suriya got a huge response from his handlebar tache in Singam 2 and now following his brother’s footsteps actor Karthi is also getting ready for an image makeover.

It is being said that actor Karthi will don a French beard in his upcoming project with director Pa Ranjith of Atta Kathi fame. The film’s shooting has begun a few days ago and it is supposed to focus on the ‘real heroes’ of the Tamil Nadu capital. Karthi has been paired up opposite Catherine Tresa in the film and it will be the debut Tamil project for the Godfather actress who has so far acted only in Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu films.
