Karthik Subbaraj All Set To collaborate With Prabhudeva For Next Project

Director Karthik Subbaraj is gearing up for his next movie. And do you know who he has approached to play the male lead? Well, it’s none other than Prabhudeva.

A source tells, “Talks have been initiated, but it is too early to talk about it.” Rumours are rife the director has approached dancer-turned-actress Samyuktha Hegde to play the female lead. Samyuktha Hegde gained popularity after her debut Kannada film Kirik Party.

However, bagging a Tamil movie has not gone easy with Samyuktha who faced a backlash for choosing a Tamil movie over Kannada. The actress was also a little hesitant to divulge details about her Tamil project. “I am not in a position to comment on the Tamil project,” she said. It is being reported that Hegde faced criticism as she already had given dates for a Kannada flick Kaleej Kumar but still signed for the Tamil movie. This move of hers annoyed the producers and several other Kannadigas who trolled her on social media.
