Karthika Nair roped in for Purampokku?

Actress Karthika of fame Ko, is on the wish-list of producers and directors and it is heard that the actress is signed in for S.P. Jananathan’s directorial next titled Purampokku. The film starring Arya and Vijay Sethupathi in male leads was having a space vacant for just one heroine and it seems that the space is filled now. However, there is now confirmation from Karthika to sign the project.

When quizzed about her approval on the same, she mentions, "Yes, it is true that they (the makers) have approached me, but I have not signed on the dotted line yet. If things go as planned, I will sign the project soon." The film to-be-made under UTV Movies is to go on floors from January, as conveyed by a source from the film unit. The movie produced by Dhananjayan, will be shot in parts of Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. More updates are still awaited.
