Karthika Nair’s Next Is Based On Women Empowerment

Karthika Nair has been away from the centre stage for an almost a year. She was last seen in Purampokku Engira Podhuvudaimai which was directed by SP Jananathan. However, later she was also roped in for a movie, which was expected to be made in multiple languages. The shooting of the flick started in February.

Karthika discloses, “Last year, I received the offer to act in this untitled film and I couldn’t be happier. I play a strong, powerful and spirited lady in this film, which is about women empowerment. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to reveal anything about the cast and crew right now. The official announcement will be out by the end of April or in May first week.”

The Annakodi actress, who usually stays from attending any workshops, attended workshops so that her character in the movie looks real. The makers have not yet revealed the name of the person who has written the story of the movie. Karthika feels that audience will be shocked when announcement about the movie’s story writer will be made. The 24-year-old star believes that the film will show her in a different light.
