Keerthy Suresh's Savitri Biopic To Miss A March Release

One of the most-anticipated releases of the year, ‘Mahanati’, has already kindled the curiosity of the fans when it was likely to release this month. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is a biopic on the legendary actress Savitri. The popular Kollywood actress, Keerthy Suresh , will be seen as essaying the main role in the flick.  

According to reports, the much-awaited film titled ‘Mahanati’ is unlikely to hit the screens this month. Reportedly, Nag Ashwin stated the reason behind the delay and said pending VFX work and therefore, it is taking more time than expected. The news might come as disappointing to the fans who were eagerly waiting for its release.

There are reports that the film also features Mollywood star Dulquer Salmaan in a key role besides Keerthy. He will be playing a character which is modeled on yesteryear icon Gemini Ganesan. It is yet to see when the movie is likely to hit screens.
