Kishore To Feature In Arangan’s Next

Actor Kishore has been roped in to star in a film titled, ‘Kathir’. The film will be directed by  Arangan, who has earlier worked with many well-known filmmakers. Moreover, the actor has starred in a film Kalathur Gramam, which has been directed by Saran K Advaithan. It has been heard that the film’s release has been postponed.

In an interview, Arangan spoke about the film, where he said, “The story is about a society conscious man whose life changes when he falls for a girl. When I wrote the character Kumbakonam Guna, a well-known person in the temple town, the actor who came to my mind first was Kishore. Having said that, he has given a wonderful performance in the film”.

Meanwhile, newcomers Vishwa and Neeraja will be seen as the lead characters in the Arangan directorial. Kishore will be portraying the role of Kumbakonam Guna. The film is based on a real-life story of a personality, who lived in Kumbakonam, namely, ‘Bus Stand Guna’. Further, Master Rajanayagam, a black belt in Kung-fu will play the antagonist in the flick.
