Know Why Arnold Was Casted In The Upcoming 2.0!

As it is known that earlier, Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was casted for the negative lead role in superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’. But, the role went to Akshay Kumar . Shankar, who is helming the upcoming flick stated the reason behind this case.

Shankar was quoted as saying, “The format of the film is like a Hollywood film. The film has a global message that each and everyone across the world can connect to. That's why we tried to rope in Arnold Schwarzenegger. He liked the script we had a lot of talks. But during the signing of contract there were few issues that didn't work out and so we zeroed in on Akshay Kumar”.

‘2.0’ will also mark the Kollywood debut of Akshay Kumar. The upcoming movie has been shot with a budget of Rs. 350 crore. The satellite rights of the movie have already been sold for a hefty price.
