Kochadaiyaan is an epic, says awestruck A. R. Rahman

While he was busy composing the music for Rajinikanth’s upcoming flick Kochadaiyaan, he could not get an actual glimpse of the film. But as the production work of the film has been wrapped up by now and the team is getting ready to release the film, it’s time for the Oscar winner to check out one of the songs of the film. According to him, the period drama Kochadaiyaan is an “epic”.

Rahman tweeted in awe of the film, "(I) had a sneak preview of Rajini sir's motion capture results for one of the songs from 'Kochadaiyaan'. (It) looks like animation on steroids! Epic.” Kochadaiyaan, directed by Rajini's daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin is going to be the first Indian film with motion capture technique, like Hollywood films The Adventures of Tintin and Avatar. The film also stars R. Sarath Kumar, Aadi Pinisetty, Shobana, Jackie Shroff, Deepika Padukone and Nassar, being jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.
