Kodi First Look Poster To Be Out On September 28

Dhanush has made an announcement over his micro-blogging page about his next project, Kodi. The political thriller first look poster date has been revealed by the Kolaveri D singer. The lead female is played by Trisha, who was last seen in Nayagi, which was a comedy horror film and well received by audiences.


His Twitter page read, "#kodi motion poster on 28th September Wednesday 7pm #diwali2016release". The other cast members include Anupama Parameshwaran, Ganesh Venkatraman and Sushma Raj. The music is given by Santhosh Narayanan and camera work from Venkatesh S.

At the same time, Dhanush’s directorial debut Power Paandi is creating quite abuzz after its first poster went out. Reports are also suggesting that he may play the younger version of veteran actor Rajkiran in the movie. The shooting is going at good pace, where the anticipated release date is somewhere early in 2017.
