Kollywood Stars Come Forward To Help Rain Affected People

It is known that heavy rain has devastated Chennai. For the past few days people have suffered a lot because of heavy showers. Finally, the rain has stopped today. But the life there is still difficult and many areas still remain under water. To help the rain affected people the Tamil Film Industry has come forward.

Siddharth, Vishal and RJ Balaji have been active on the microblogging site Twitter. They are co-coordinating the relief work and are also helping people in reaching out to their loved ones who have been trapped. They have asked people to tweet if they have any information and if they want to donate to the needy.

Superstar Rajinikanth donated Rs. 10 lakh recently to help the people affected by flood. Ajith also came forward and donated Rs. 60 lakh. He has also donated more than 3500 bedsheets. He and his wife Shalini are doing every possible thing to help the people of the state.
