    Krishna To Play An Omniphobic In Kalari

    After playing an aggressive street fighter in Pandigai, actor Krishna has been getting versatile roles. His forthcoming movie titled Kalari will see him in such a role. The flick is directed by Kiran Chand and is set in Vathuruthy in Kochi.

    The story of the flick revolves around the strained relationship between father and son. “I wanted a new location and hence chose Vathuruthy. Also, the story is based on a real life incident that took place there. Krishna plays a guy with omniphobia who wants to lead a peaceful life. On the other hand, his father, essayed by MS Bhaskar is a rogue and lives life at his own will. The ego clash that arises between father and son and its repercussions forms the rest,” said the director.

    Since kalari is a form of self-defence and also means war field, therefore the movie talks about the protagonist’s life which turns into a battle field. Actress Vidya Pradeep has been roped in as the female lead. Samyukta Menon makes her debut in Kollywood with this film. She will essay the role of Krishna’s sister.
