A couple of days back it was reported that director K.V. Anand has joined hands with Vijay Sethupathi for his next film. The film will also have T. Rajendar in an important role. The director took almost a year to lock his next film.

The director shared how difficult it was to bring the two big actors together for a flick. He said, “In Bollywood, it is easy to bring, say, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, for a film. But in the south, it is very difficult to bring two big actors together for a film”.

He added, “My next film has two lead roles, both equally powerful, and I wanted two big actors. It took me eight months to get them on board because when I approached actors with my script, they had apprehensions about the other character dominating theirs -no matter which character I'd pitch”. However, it was a different case when the director approached T. Rajendar and the Sethuapthi actor. They did not fear the dominance of the other actor’s character and they agreed to star in the film.
