Lagubaran To Play Antagonist In Next

Playing main-hero in the romantic-drama Raattinam, actor Lagubaran will be playing antagonist next. The project is named Sathru and the character of lead protagonist will be played by Kathir. Srushti Dange will play his opposite number, where debutant director Naveen will helm the project.

"I never thought I will get an opportunity to play a negative role so early in my career. In Raattinam, I played a happy-go-lucky youngster and based on that role, people started believing that I can only play soft roles. But this will test me as an actor," says Lagubaran.

Talking about his character, the actor added, "My character is someone who is involved in child trafficking and it is quite powerful". His last flick was K. S. Thangasamy’s Ettuthikkum Mathayaanai. It will be an interesting movie for fans to see Lagubaran in negative role.
