Lakshmi Menon Talks About Her Next Project

Lakshmi Menon will be playing a college student in Rathina Siva's ‘Rekka’. The actress, for the first time, will share screen space with Vijay Sethupathi. Talking about the film, the actress revealed that the moment the story was narrated to her, she agreed to play the part.

Lakshmi spoke about her character in the film and said, “I play a modern role — as in, compared to the 'girl-next-door' characters I have essayed till date. Also, quite unlike some of the characters I have played earlier, I won't be wearing a pavadai-davani in this film”.

The actress also shared her experience working with Vijay and stated that they get along well. The Komban actress was last seen in the zombie flick ‘Miruthan’ which was directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. In the film, Lakshmi shared screen space with Jayam Ravi. It told the story of a cop who had to save a town from zombies.
