Late Lyricist Na. Muthukumar Remembered During Yaagan’s Audio Launch

At the audio launch of Yaagan, the team paid homage to late Na. Muthukumar through offering financial aid to his family as the world-class lyricist had penned a few beautiful songs in the film. Actress Namitha graced the event and received the first set of audio from the team. Also, a sapling was given to people who promoted the ‘Go Green’ notion.

Remembering Na. Muthukumar, producer J Satish Kumar said, “I am proud that Muthukumar won the national award for his soul-stirring song Anandha Yaazhai Meetugiraai from Thanga Meengal, which was distributed by me. The song fetched me `11.2 crores through caller tunes!Yet another song by him in Rummy got me a revenue of `78 lakh. They gave me a new dimension in the business of cinema.”

Helmed by Vinodh Thangavel, the film stars Sajan and Anjena Kirti of Chennai 600028: Second Innings fame in the lead. The music of the film has been composed by Niro Prabhakar. Desimartini wishes strokes of luck to the team.
