Lingaa opens to a massive response, fans give it a thumbs up!

Thalaiva has arrived and arrived in style! The Rajnikanth starrer Lingaa finally hit the screens today across the country.  The K. S. Ravikumar directed much awaited film that is being considered as the film of the year for southern industry has lived up to the hype by opening huge.

The film that also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Sharma opened to packed houses all over the region with theatres singing praises accolades watching the superstar on screen. The early reports and pictures showed fans putting garlands on the cut out posters of the actor, cutting his birthday cakes, going completely crazy amid the buzz and celebrating the release of the film. The response the film has garnered has been pretty positive. While the fans have given the film a thumbs up, the critics too have been pretty generous terming the film a good entertainer.
