    According to the grapevine, Rajinikanth's Lingaais on the verge of completion. Only one songisleft for shooting while rest of the portions of the film is said to be progressing at a nice pace. The latest buzz is that superstarRajinikanth has finished dubbing for the film in just one day.  According to producer Rockline Venkatesh, "Rajinikanth finished the dubbing during Dussehra time. He walked in the morning and by the end of the day, he was done with the dubbing. It was one of the fastest dubbing efforts I've seen."

    The crew has just wrapped up a song featuring RajinikanthandSonakshi Sinha in Hyderabad. The team is just left to shoot one more song with Rajinikanth. The producer further says, "The introduction song of Rajini sir will be shot in France, Italy and Hong Kong. The song, sung by SP Balasubrahmanyam, will be choreographed by Brinda. We will leave to Europe post Deepavali." There are no reports about the audio launch of the film as of now.  Reports state that the producer has rubbished the rumours about the film being releasedonPongal and states that the film will be released on Rajinikanth's birthday.

    Lingaa, directed by K. S. Ravikumar is an upcoming action thriller. The film stars Rajinikanth, Anushka Shetty and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. The background score is given by A. R. Rahman and the film is scheduled to release on 12 December. Jagapati Babu, Santhanam, Radha Ravi,Vijayakumar and R. Sundarrajan will be seen portraying important roles too.
