Lissy Antony recently sat down with Deccan Chronicle for an interview where she spoke about her experience in the industry. The actress shared that she joined the Navy and travelled to several places. After returning to India, she met Taramani director Ram, who brought her on board for the film ‘Thanga Meenkal’.

“The role was appreciated so well that people started calling me Stella miss! I did not expect this kind of response and in the process, I completed 15 films now. Once again Taramani has given me attention”, she explained. Talking about ‘Taramani’, Lissy said that she has a lot of faith in director Ram and that even a small character in his film would be noticed well. This is why she did not hesitate in taking the offer.

She also shared that the director did not allow them to use glycerin for the emotional scenes. He asked her to recall an aggressive or angry moment from her life to cry in front of the camera. Talk about authenticity!

Lissy currently has five films in her kitty including ‘Paeranbu’, ‘Soo Mandirakaali’ and ‘Pariyerum Perumal’.
