Madhavan, Shraddha To Collaborate Again For A Romantic Flick

Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath are all set again for a romantic drama, titled Maara.  Dhilip Kumar, who made the well-received short film Kalki, is now gearing up to make his feature film debut with Maara. Fans will see Madhavan in a pure romantic drama after a long time.

On this, the director said, “After a very long time, Madhavan is acting in a pure romance drama. He has done the Tanu Weds Manu films in Hindi, but in those, he had to act passively. This one will be a very charming character”. He added that it was not a conscious decision to repeat the Vikram Vedha pair of Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath. He further said that the story is essentially between the two characters of the film who have a mature outlook. Moreover, the movie will highlight a love story in which the duo gets strung together by the simple things in life.

As said by Dhilip, music and art direction will be the backbone of the film. He has chosen Ghibran as the music director and Ajayan Chalissery, who will be making his debut as the production designer.  Deepak Bhagawan, who has done a Telugu film with director Teja, is doing the cinematography while Arima Nambi’s Bhuvan Srinivasan will be the editor. Notably, While Dhilip has written the main script, the additional screenplay has been written by Bipin.
