Madhuvanti Arun To Make Tamil Debut In Dharmadurai

Known theatre personality, Madhuvanti Arun is all set to make her Tamil debut on the big screen soon. She will star alongside Vijay Sethupathi in Dharmadurai, while playing a cop. The flick is directed by talented Thenmerku Paruvakaatru maker, Seenu Ramasamy.

"Seenu sir had seen my performance in my Tamil play Perumale, and liked my performance. He then came to me, and offered me the role, saying that he could not visualise anyone else who could pull off the role, better. So I agreed. This is my first film, and my first cop role, so it is mighty exciting", said elated Madhuvanti.

Sharing her experience while working with the crew, the theatre artist said that she was given ‘respect and was treated really well’ at the sets. About the director, Madhumati called his style of direction suited her, as he believes in shooting the full sequences over just shots. She spilled the beans on her character as well by telling that it is in flashback period and is turning
point in the life of the lead actor.
