Madras completes its half century

Karthi starrer Madras which apparently hit the screens on September 26 has completed 50 days of its screening. The movie opened to positive reviews from critics as well as the audiences. The action-drama film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith of Atta Kathi fame has been receiving remarkable response, since its release.

The plot revolves around an impulsive middle class boy saves his friends from a difficult situation. Most of the film's shooting was done in the area of north Chennai. The film also marks the Kollywood debut of Catherine Tresa.Distributed by Studio Green, the film managed to grab many eye-balls and is still doing well.
