Mani Ratnam To Rope In Sai Pallavi For Karthi Starrer?

Mani Ratnam’s next project has garnered lot of attention in the recent past. Many stars were linked with the project and it was being said that the veteran director is planning to make a multi-starrer. But last month it was reported that the film will only have Karthi in the lead.

Looks like, the female lead for the film has also been decided by the makers. According to reports, Mani Ratnam has taken a screen test of Mollywood actress Sai Pallavi who made a blockbuster debut with ‘Premam’. The film has managed to cross the 250 days run mark in Tamil Nadu and many cities as well.

The 23 year- old is also being linked with Vijay and Ajith. Speculations are rife that the actress will might be roped in for either ‘Vijay 60’ or ‘Thala 58’. The actress is currently busy shooting for director Sameer Thahir’s film ‘Kali’ which features Dulquer Salmaan as the lead.
