Mani Ratnam To Collaborate With Fahadh Faasil?

Director Mani Ratnam’s last movie Kaatru Veliyidai which starred actress Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead role failed to leave a lasting impression on audience as well as on critics. After the movie’s release, there were speculations regarding his next. Rumours were also doing the rounds that he might sign Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja in the movie which is believed to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

It was also speculated that he will work with Mahesh Babu and Fahadh Faasil in a film. But, nothing got materialise. If sources are to be trusted, he has begun pre-production work for the film. The sources further revealed that though he was in talks with several stars including Ram Charan and Fahadh Faasil but he will not cast them in his next.

However, he might approach Fahadh Faasil for his future project. His forthcoming film will be produced by his home banner Madras Talkies. The film is expected to go on floors in September. There were also reports of Mani working with Aditi again in future.
