    Mani Ratnam’s Bilingual Project Shelved

Mani Ratnam suffered two back to back setbacks for his untitled bilingual project. First, Keerthy Suresh opted out of the project as she felt that her role was less important than the other female lead role, played by Nithya Menen. Then Karthi was also out of the film as he could not allot the desired dates. Now, there is one more shocker from the project.

According to the reports, Mani Ratnam has decided to shelve the project as of now. Sources close to the veteran filmmaker disclose that due to call sheet problem of other actors the project has been put on hold, and now the director will move on to his next project. He will start working with a fresh script now.

Speculations are rife that Nani, who was supposed to play one of the lead roles in the flick, also walked out of the film and thus the project was put on hold. Reports suggest that Mani Ratnam will collaborate with Dhanush for his next. The duo recently met and spoke about working together in a film.
