Manju Warrier Making Kollywood Debut With Arivazhagan’s Next

Looks like Malayalam actress Manju Warrier will be making her Kollywood debut with a women-centric action thriller. The flick will be directed by ‘Kuttram 23’ director Arivazhagan. The actress has said yes to the project but is yet to sign the contract.

The director shared some insight on the project and stated, “It is a subtle action thriller with a female protagonist in the lead. The highlight will be the film’s realistic approach and emotional take on life. Like in my earlier films, through this venture people would be able to relate to the story”. He also praised Manju and said that the film requires a “performance-oriented role” and that there are very few artists capable of pulling off such characters.

Arivazhagan also revealed that they have not finalized a male lead for the film. Thaman will be composing the music and the dialogues are currently being fine tuned. The flick is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.
