Master of disguise Kamal Haasan turns 60

It is a great day for Kamal Haasan as the magnanimous megastar turns 60 today. Kamal who is regarded as one of the most influential actors of the industry, has received many honours and recognition including four National Film Awards and 19 Filmfare Awards. Kamal started his career with Kalathur Kannamma and since then the star never looked back. His efforts, hard work and tireless dedication won him the Padma Shri in 1990 and the Padma Bhushan in 2014.

The versatile actor experimented with his looks in various blockbusters like Apoorva Sagodhararga, Avai Shanmugi, Aalavandhan, Anbe Sivam and Dasavatharam. His makeup for each role was highly appreciated by the audience as well as the critics and soon he was given the title of master of disguise.
