Matroruvan Has Just One Character?

The upcoming film titled ‘Matroruvan’ stars Riyaz Khan. That is it. No leading lady, no supporting characters, nothing. Directed by debutant Majo Mathew, the movie is being touted as a psychological thriller. According to a source, “The film has been directed by a debutant Majo Mathew. It is a psychological thriller and also a commercial entertainer”.

The script suggests that Riyaz is the only character in the film which focuses on a series of dreams experienced by the actor. The film includes a dog and an elephant and has a runtime of one hour and 50 minutes. Majo has shot the film in Hyderabad, Munnar and Chennai.

According to the source, “The film has just two songs and the music for it has been scored by Benny John. The film is now almost ready and is likely to hit screens in the month of May”. The same source also added that the film was shot in its entirety in just 45 days.
