Meera Mitun Roped In Thaana Serndha Koottam

Model-turned-actress Meera Mitun has bagged a role in Thaana Serndha Koottam which stars actor Suriya in the lead role. Vignesh ShivN will be at the helm of affairs for the project. Meera last appeared in the critically acclaimed film 8 Thottakkal.

When asked from Meera about the project, she refused to divulge details. "I'm happy that my role in 8 Thottakkal was the reason for the makers to approach me for this big-ticket flick — they'd met me a while ago. I have been shooting for the film for quite some time now. But since I have been asked by the team not to let out any information about my role in the film, I cannot reveal much. All I can say is that I have an interesting character to portray in the movie,” she said.

Apart from Suriya and Meera, Thaana Serndha Koottam also features Karthik, Keerthy Suresh , Kalaiyarasan, Nandha, Senthil, RJ Balaji, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyan. Anirudh Ravichander has rendered the tunes to the movie. The film is expected to hit theatres in January 2018 on the occasion of Pongal.
