Meera Mithun Was Initially Apprehensive Of Her Looks In 8 Thottakal

Model-turned-actress, Meera Mithun debuted in Kollywood with the movie 8 Thottakal. Though her role in the movie was small but it garnered her appreciation. She was seen essaying the role of a north Madras girl which demanded her to look dull.

Talking about her Tamil debut, Meera said, "I wanted to prove my acting prowess in my first film, that's why I chose a bold role. As I'm a Tamilian, I was able to deliver my dialogues with ease." As her role demanded her to look dull, therefore the actress also worked on her looks. She says, "Cinematographer Dinesh tried his best to give me that north Madras girl look. Even if I applied a little makeup or tried to look fresh, he would ask me to wash them off. He ensured that I looked dull to fit into the skin of the character."

Talking about her looks in her debut movie, Meera who is also a bio Technologist said that initially she did not like the dull look as she had been in the modelling industry for several years. However, gradually she started liking it after she saw herself on the monitor during the shoot. Meera is currently reading scripts for her next film.
