Mupparimaanam Will Give Much Needed Lift To Shanthanu’s Career

Actor Shanthanu is enjoying making movies and is all excited for his Pongal release Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga with Parthiban. Being son of star couple Bhagyaraj and Poornima is not easy and it took him a while to make his own mark in industry, but now he is ready with two more flicks for this year. The other movie he is working on is with director Adhirooban, former assistant to Bala, and called Mupparimaanam.

Adhirooban opened up about the flick and said, “It’s a romantic thriller. Everyone has different dimensions to them — and what may seem obvious to some, isn’t always the way it turns out! Shanthanu plays Kathir, while Srushti Dange essays the role of Anusha. They are medical students and childhood friends — the conflicts that arise in their life and its repercussions form the crux.”

On being asked about if the flick will put light on the hard realities of life, which is easily noticed in his mentor Bala’s movie, Adhirooban replied by saying that it might not, and added that Mupparimaanam is a mixed genre and is mostly entertaining flick. However, it comes with a message for people and people will relate to it.
