Murugadoss's Next Will Have Rs. 85 to 90 Crore Budget

A Source close to A.R. Murugadoss has stated that the filmmaker’s next project will have a huge budget, the highest of his career. The source said, “The film will be made approximately on a budget of Rs.85 crore to Rs.90 crore. It will be by far the most expensive film in the director's career”.

Talking about the shooting, the source stated, “If the makers plan to release the film by early 2017, then they will go on the floors on April 14. However, if they aim for a summer release next year, the regular shooting will only start from July later this year”. It is rumoured that the film will be a sequel to the 2012 film Thuppakki and will be an action entertainer.

The project will star Mahesh Babu and will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. Tagore Madhu will be producing the film. The leading lady has not been confirmed as of yet.
