    Legendary music composer T K Ramamurthy died at the age of 91. He was a part of the famous duo, Viswanathan-Ramamurthy. Both have worked together for 700 films and had ruled the era of 50’s and 60’s. Ramamurthy’s demise is a big loss to the industry as a talent like him appears once in a millennium.

    The veteran was famous for his violin playing skills and for the creation of Carnati-western music. He brought life to many films with his music, some are;Malarndhum Malaratha,Malai Pozhuthin Mayakkathile,Aval Paranthu Ponale,Thangathile oru kurai irundal,Atho Andha Paravai Pola,Ammano SaamiyoandNaan. All the artists gave their condolences on the veteran composer's death.

    Chief Minister Jayalalithaa said that, “Ramamurthy's demise was not only a huge loss to the cine industry but a personal loss to her. He composed music along with Viswanathan in over 700 movies. He composed music for the filmNaan, in which I acted. It was a great hit and a memorable experience in my life," she said.
