Mystery revealed: Vijay 58 to be titled Puli

Vijay-Chimbudevan's fantasy film, which was earlier referred as Vijay 58, has now been titled Puli. The name was announced on Sunday. The film will seeVijay in dual roles alongside a star-heavy ensemble cast including Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Hansika Motwani and Sudeep.

“It gives us immense pleasure and happiness to announce the title as Puli for our most prestigious project with Vijay and director Chimbudevan,” said a statement from SKT Studios, the film’s production house.

Meanwhile, yesteryear actress Sridevi says she is excited to be a part of the film. “It gives me immense happiness to announce the title of my new Tamil film PULI. It’s been a wonderful experience working with the cast and crew,” the actress wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Glamorous diva Sridevi who has been missing from silver screen since long, is all set to make a comeback with Puli. The veteran actress has been roped in to play Hansika Motwani’s mother in the film.
