Naan Sigappu Manithan: Iniya roped in

Southern actress Iniya has been roped in by Thiru for his next, Naan Sigappu Manithan. The actress is now a part of the cast that includes Vishal and Lakshmi Menon. The film will be produced by Vishal, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor. Iniya has earlier worked in films like Ammavin Kaipesi, Chennaiyil Oru Naal, Ayaal, Pulivaal and many others.

A source said, “Ineya is playing a key role in the film. Her character is very crucial to the script. Though she was apprehensive about accepting this offer initially as the film has another female lead, she agreed to it as the role was very prominent. The director chose Iniya because the character needed someone with a dusky look. The shooting for Iniya's portions will commence in January.”
