    While everyone is lauding Kamal Haasan for receiving honourable recognition by winning Chevalier Award from the French government, the South Indian Artistes' Association (SIAA) is far more excited with achievement from the Thevar Magan star. 

    The Government of France honoured the late Acting legend Dr. Sivaji Ganesan with the Chevalier award. Like that, today the France Government has announced the Chevalier award for our brother Ulaganayagan Dr. Kamal Haasan. We consider this as the recognition for the entire Tamil film industry and we are extremely happy about this”, wrote the body.

    It will carry a mega function to felicitate the Ulaganayagan for winning Chevalier Award. “At this moment, we take this opportunity to congratulate our brother Kamal Haasan on behalf of the office bearers and members of the South Indian Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam), for winning the Chevalier award", added SIAA. The date will be finalized after meeting with the superstar and finalizing other important matters.
