    Nagarjuna says his Shirdi Sai will be the first Telugu film to hit screens in Africa

    Telugu superstar Nagarjuna has revealed that his upcoming movieShirdi Saiwill be the first Telugu film to hit theatres in Africa. The film, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, is releasing in around 800 theatres across the globe on Thursday. In a telephonic interview with IANS, Nagarjuna said that the story of the film will be uplifting and touching. "Shirdi Saiis the first Telugu film to release in Africa as it is home to thousands of Sai devotees. The film is also releasing in many other countries where previously no Telugu films were screened", the 53-year old said.

    The actor also revealed that Shirdi Sai, which was filmed in about 60 days, is a message-oriented and spiritual movie. "Though it sounds cliched, but I'm fortunate to get these kinds of roles. I'm very excited. I will be carrying forward the legacy of my previous films Annamayyaand Sri Ramadasu, also directed by K. Raghavendra Rao,” he said.
